You Know The Panicky Feeling You Get When…

...you take your three kids to go see the neighborhood Zebra and as you’re turning around on the little dirt road you hear your tires spinning helplessly in the mud because it’s rained for 3 days straight and you start getting all clammy wondering how your husband is going to rescue you because you only have one car and then two of your kids start to cry and you begin to freak out at the thought of being stuck with three cranky, hungry kids in a minivan that’s stuck in the mud while it’s raining outside....all because of a zebra?

You know that feeling?

I had that feeling today.

I would have rescued you, dear.
Somehow.  Someway.
If not easily. If not today.

I would have found my way to you.
Rest easy.  No fear.
Tomorrow, or the next day....oh look, exotic deer!

I know that feeling...only it was the sound of my tire on my minivan (our only vehicle) blowing out on the interstate at 65 miles per hour, knowing that my husband was at home waiting with the kids for me to pick them up and no way to come and help me and NO SPARE TIRE OR JACK in the stinkin’ back of the van. Oh, I know it sooo well.

Jimmy,
You’re so cute...and funny...and smart...and…

Clint,
That is a really funny story - for those of us who didn’t experience it…

Karen,
Yikes! What did you do?
