We’ve Made Our Picks..

We all made our picks tonight for the NCAA basketball tournament. Here they are:

Jimmy: Kansas
Kat: Texas A&M (I’m not in it to make the best picks but to “wish” the best tourney. I have Texas and A&M in a final four showdown.)
The Small Person: Nevada
The Smaller Person: Florida
The Smallest Person: He’s exempt from this year since he won’t be born until after the tourney starts. I’m sure we’ll be watching it in the hospital, though, so he can start formulating his thoughts for next year’s picks.

I’m with you on A&M;.  Go Aggies.

Whoop!  Gig’em, Aggies!

Looking around at the various pundits and their brackets, I still find it amazing that 99% of them have A&M;in the Final Four.  Like I said before, never would have that this would happen in Aggie b-ball.

Did you both pick A&M;to win it all or did you pick someone else as the actual winner and are “hoping” for A&M;to win?

I don’t normally root for the Aggies, but I love cinderella stories and this is definitely a great story of an amazing program turnaround.

You’re so funny, Kat. I don’t think I can find a single place where you mention TAMU in any favorable way, without you immediately following that with some sort of disclaimer.

I did my picks yesterday...I have Ohio State winning it all, and their star player is from right here in Indy.

My secret identity is blown. Back to the batcave.

I can’t believe I did that. That’s what I get for referring to myself in 3rd person.

 

No harm, I’m sure...we’re all your friends here.  But it did kind of make me wonder why your hubby didn’t get a secret identity, too…

It’s just all falling apart Cristy....

He didn’t get a secret identity because he couldn’t come up with a name he liked....

I confess I feel very confused at times, because there are several places on the web where I’m rather well known as kat and I’m having trouble keeping up with it all.

Perhaps I just need to train my real life friends to just call me Kat…

I think it’s a fun name.

I was trying to ignore the gaffe as an obvious result of pregnant-brain.  I’ve seen the signs all to often: have baby, will loose intelligence.

Apparently, it’s not isolated to the pregnant-brain…

No, I have a related condition: baby brain.  Though similar in nature, pregnant brain only affects women while baby brain hits new parents indiscriminately.

It would seem I also have “loose vowels”, as they tend to run together.

Grooooaaann.....oh, that was terrible! Clever....but terrible!!!

Do you get both Texas A&M;schools? Corpus Cristi Islanders and the Aggies?

Honestly, I didn’t pick the Islanders. I’m a Baylor Bear, I can only root for a certain number of A&M;affiliates without having my degree revoked.

Kat,
Its good you choose the Aggies as your A&M;then cause their still playing and you get to see what artstry on the court will be had for another weekend. No matter how little of passion you have for them you have some.

If you picked the Islanders you would have had no passion at all to look forward to this weekend.
