We Just Bought A New House!

(Well, almost… Last night we signed the contract so we won’t actually own it until closing in about a month. )

I’m very excited! Our trusty little house has served us well, but it’s just too small for 3 kids and 1 stay at home mom and 1 work from home dad.

The new house has TWO offices. One is really secluded, so Jimmy will actually be able to work in peace and I won’t CONSTANTLY have to tell the kids to be quiet. The other office is off the master bedroom and it’s a huge room with lots of windows and built in bookcases. It will be perfect for an office/playroom where the kids and I can hang out and make most of our messes.

Once we close on the house I’ll post some pics.

It’s a whirlwind around here, though, getting everything ready and preparing for all of our travels as well.

I also wanted to mention that random.or selected Joyce, Lindsey and Carrie as the winners of the Christy Nockels cd’s. All the winners have been notified via Facebook or email.

I have 2 more cd’s to give away, but it may have to wait until we get our house on the market next Monday.

Congratulations!  I’m right there with you on the insanity of the whole process.  Good luck!

Congrats on the house!!! That is great news. We’re refinancing...right this minute actually...well, getting our paperwork together anyhow. Have a good time moving.

So happy for you guys!  Praying that the rest of the process goes smoothly and you find a quick buyer for your “old” house. 

That is very exciting!  I understand the importance of a secluded home office! Can’t wait to see some picts.
