New Design: Under Construction

I’m currently just finished updating the site with a new design I’ve been working on. Things may look a bit weird while I switch things over should look normal now.

I still want the nosering...just not the freaked out family… A good friend just got her nose pierced and it seems that everywhere I go I meet someone with a nosering. I just need to get past the fact that my family (parents, grandparents...) will likely freak out.

Wow. I like it.
I’ve gotta admit that it was quite shocking at first, because it’s so utterly different than your previous layout.
But as a longtime Kat fan, I’ve been through this “total redesign” phase with you a few times before. I reckon it’s less expensive than say, completely changing all the paint, window-dressings, and furniture in your house every few months. 
Bet your husband is grateful for this alternate outlet for such energy.
The only thing that seems to be broken for me is the “smileys” thing. It will pop up the new window, but when I click on the smiley it doesn’t get inserted into the comments. It just does nothing at all. I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Windows 2000, if that helps.
Hmmm. So I thought I’d try it with IE to see if that makes any difference, but I can’t even log in with IE. I get the homepage, which says I must register or log in, but when I click on “log in” it does nothing at all. This is IE 6 on Windows 2000.
