Track Your Blog Comments

Since so many of the blogs I read are on Blogger, I’ve spent FAR too much time constantly checking posts to see if anyone has responded to the comments I leave. It’s such a huge time drain so I was quite pleased when I discovered CoComment.
It’s a comment tracking site that works with Blogger and several other systems. You just sign up for an account, save a link to your bookmarks, and then when you leave a comment somewhere, you just click the bookmark and it logs that comment in your Conversations. You can then view all the sites where you’ve left your comments and see how many other comments have been left - all from your account page on CoComment. They even offer an RSS feed for all the posts that you’re monitoring.
It’s been a challenge to remember to use it, but I’ve been very happy when I do remember. It saves me SO much time. I hope you find it helpful.

That’s pretty neat and I believe I’ll try it.

There’s also another site: co.comments.com that does the same thing.
I like the coComments.com site because they have a Firefox extension that sutomatically adds my comment to my list on any available blogging system. I’d always forget to click the bookmarklet so I like this automation.
I do want to mention that coComments.com IS still in beta, so don’t be surprised if you see a bug here or there.
