The Biggest Day Of Her 3 Year Old Life

My 3 year old asked Jesus into her heart today.
Before naptime, my 4 year old was asking my husband questions about heaven and who goes to heaven. Then about 10 minutes after he put them to bed he walked back by their room and heard them talking. When he told them to stop talking and go to sleep they came running out of the room laughing and my three year old was yelling, “I asked Jesus into my heart!”
My 4 year old then clarified that they had been talking and that her sister wants to ask Jesus into her heart, but they didn’t quite know what to pray.
So Jimmy had the honor of leading her in this prayer. (I happened to have my iBook with me and I hit record as soon as they came into the room.)

PRAISE GOD! I think thats so precious.
I remember the day both my girls did the same. Although, I think we said the prayer a few more times, and the last prayer was actually just recently-you could see their was more of an understanding to what they were doing, thats when they got baptized.
Isnt it a great feeling as a mom to know they have Jesus in their heart? Now, its time for you to start nurturing growth! (Who said mommy’s arent missionaries??)

My oldest and youngest sons did this together one night when they were supposed to be sleeping too! I see a trend. Grin. What a lovely moment.

Tressa, Truevyne and Cristy,
Thanks! It certainly was a “Memorial Day” for our family.
FYI - I’ve just set my blog up so that I can post pics of my kids now. I’ve made it so that they’re only viewable to people who register and log in (just requires an email address).
It’s a simple level of privacy, but this way, my pics are open for any of my readers to view, but not open for Google to crawl.
I’ve posted a really cute picture of my 3 year old in this post so register and try it out. Let me know if it works for you.

The other bonus is that if you’re logged in, you don’t have to type in the captcha word.

This is incredible. Thank you for sharing that audio with us. I am reminded again of how God delights in the faith of a child. I want to be more like your daughters. =-)

Congratulations, that is so wonderful!
She has her entire life ahead of her, already knowing who her savior is, I think that is great…
My son also, wanted to ask Jesus into his heart at bed time. Maybe it’s the time for them to ponder.

How precious it is when a small child accepts God’s invitation to be a princess in His family. I wish I could hug her in person but I am doing it in my heart.

G-gram B,
I’ll give her a hug for you.

You’re not a typical mom. Your daughter will be so lucky with you around.
