I’ve been changed during these past 40 days. Hopefully, you have too. I’ve been so moved by each of the posts and the thousand or even millions of lives that each post represented.

In Closing

I’ll close with the lyrics of one of my favorite songs. It’s by an artist named Kendall Payne and the song is called Pray:

Frankly, I have NO clue who these people are in the video, but it was a quick way for me to add the song to this entry.

That was a beautiful song and I wanted to thank you for this 40 day fast! It has made me and I’m sure everyone to be more like Jesus, being compassionate and serving others - taking “I” out of our vocabularies and seeing others and their needs before our own. I am proud to call you my daughter - I love you!

I’m glad you chose Kendall’s song “Pray” to close out the 40 Day fast.  That is my favorite of Kendall’s songs; a friend of mine sang it at church a couple weeks ago.  I just got her new CD in the mail Saturday.

I’m not able to fast today, for a couple of reasons.  But I pray for everyone who is.  I posted my thoughts on the whole experience of the 40-day fast on my blog - to long to go here.

I read this in my reading this morning.
1 Tim 2:1
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” The writer of Timothy (I’m not sure who off the top of my head) goes on to encourage us to pray for those in authority, kings and all in authority.  He continues and gives a brief gospel message. I encourage you to check out the rest of this passage: 1 Tim 2:1-7
