The 40 Day Fast Logo and Info Page

Jeremy had a couple great ideas for The 40 Day Fast. He recommended that we create a little logo that folks could put in their sidebar (or a post) to promote the event. So here it is.

(fyi - there’s not really a brown box around the logo. It’s late and I don’t have time to mess with my css file. Just know that the logo is just the text on the white background.)

I don’t profess to be a graphic designer, so if anyone out there does profess to be one, feel free to have a go at creating something a bit snazzier.

In the meantime, here’s the code to post this on your blog:

I also took his advice and set up a page, which the image links to, dedicated to the fast. It has all the info and a list of those who are participating. Take a look and let me know if there’s anything I should add.

I’m working on creating a blogroll of “The Fasters” and I should be done with that in the next day or so.

We have 18 folks signed up and we just need 22 more so please take a minute to add the logo to your sidebar and let people know about The 40 Day Fast.

I added the logo to my site.

Although on blogger I had to tweak it a little because it was too big for my sidebar.

If anyone else has that problem you can use the code I did. It is just a tad bot smaller but works on my blogger sidebar now.

And Kat. Without me totally taking over the comment section of the blog, may I ask that my date for fasting not be between the 28th of June or the 2nd of July?

I am going on a cruise to celebrate 10 years of marriage and will not have internet on the boat and therefore will not be able to post about my cause.

And since we are speaking of causes, are we going to sign up for our causes so we don’t have the same ones repeating all 40 days?

Thanks Kat!  It worked!

Kat, the code worked fine for me.  It looks great!  I just planned a trip to the beach with my kids from 6/30-7/7 and I’m not sure about internet access while I’m there - hope that doesn’t mess you up.
