The Small Person, who was up all night last night with coughing / gagging fits is now sleeping peacefully in the other room.
As a parent, there isn’t much worse than watching your child suffer and not be able to do anything about it. She was miserable last night. I was miserable last night.
She missed school today and her first dance class that she’s been looking forward to for weeks. She’ll miss school tomorrow too.
At least she’s sleeping well tonight. So will I.

Lil’E has had the whole sick on the first day of something big happen. Very disappointing; but the beauty of kids is they get over it so easily. I’m guessing that the school does not see illness as an excuse for not meeting quota on the fundraiser sales.

Spencer had croup when he was 9 months old. I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared as I was when I rushed him to the hospital. It was horrible.
