Please Pray For This Little Boy

image This is a little boy in my town named Paul Saxson who is fighting cancer. He’s 6 years old and he’s had cancer since he was 2.

His parents have recently taken him off of treatment because there is nothing more they can do except ease his pain. He may only have a couple more days with his family and his parent are treating every moment like gold.

Please take some time today to pray for Paul and his family. There are some prayer points in the note below. I also want to encourage you to post a comment on his parent’s blog. Just let them know that you’re praying for them.

The Saxon’s have decided to stop treatment
(see link below) as there is nothing more they can do
for Paul except ease his pain.

A few months ago, Paul said he was not ready to go
meet Jesus, and he wanted to “fight” the disease.
They have done all the fighting they can, and the
treatments have broken down his little body. He is now
6, and has had cancer off and on since he was 2. The
recent treatments have done nothing to help him.

Paul’s dad wrote in the blog (below) that he has known
all along that medicine alone will not heal his son-
that is has to be God. That is what we are praying for
now.

Please continue to pray for Paul’s healing. It’s still
not too late. Pray for Paul to be at peace about his
future - whatever it may be, and pray for his precious
parents, Terrill and Leigh, and for his brothers, Jack
and Whit.

I really hope you’ll take the time today to pray for Paul and his family and to leave them a note on their blog.

We’ve been talking about need for the past 21 days. Here’s our chance to do something. Please join me.
