Please Pray For Gresham

My friend Shaun’s little boy, Gresham, has been sick for about a week now. He has “a deep tissue bacterial infection behind his pharynx in his neck, causing it to swell with fluid, push on everything and make the tiniest movements very painful.”
Shaun and Becky are taking him to the doctor today because the antibiotics don’t seem to be working and his fever has continued to climb. They are concerned that the infection may spread to his bloodstream and other tissues.
As a parent there is nothing worse that having a sick child. Please be praying for them today, that the infection wouldn’t spread, his fever would go down and he’d recover quickly.

Will do- it sounds pretty serious, like bacterial meningitis or something. I’m sure they checked for that first thing. I sure hope it does not spread anywhere else!

So glad you posted this, Kat. I haven’t read Shlog since school started (I know...how dumb) and so I wouldn’t have known. Will be praying for Gresham and the family.

It’s so hard to watch little kids be sick. We’ve been praying for him.

Seems he has Kawasaki Diesease - Shaun canceled all concerts, they admitted Gresham to the hospital.
