Pat Robertson Thinks My Church Is Cool

I honestly am not a huge fan of CBN, but I still think it’s cool that they’ve selected my church as The Church of The Week. Whatever that means.

The video is specifically about my church’s response to the Tsunami of 2004.

The money quote in this video is from one of the Sri Lankan villagers and his response to the work our team did there:

“… you played with our children, cared for the sick, and are everyday with us.  This makes me want to take a picture of your God and hang him on my wall and worship Him.”

Honestly? That gives me goosebumps. We don’t have to be evangelists. We don’t have to be rock stars. We just have to recognize need and do our best to meet it.

That’s what this 40 Day Fast has been all about. Being the hands and feet of Jesus.
