My Son Is Nocturnal

I am not.
I am sleepy.
My son, like most newborns, is a bit confused between day and night. Just as my husband and I are ready to go to sleep, he’s ready to party.
Tonight, though I don’t think it will be as hard to stay awake for those middle of the night feedings. I bought a fun movie for my iPod that I’ll watch to keep me awake and somewhat sane.
I love technology.
The movie I bought is The Prince and Me. Yes, a cheesy, sappy, silly chick flick. Do you have a favorite cheesy, sappy, silly chick flick that you’d recommend that I watch if this nocturnal thing doesn’t turn around soon?

Thats a really good idea! I always worried I’d drop the baby or something because I’m so out of it. I’m still with you on the waking up at night. My baby wakes around 12am, 4am, and 6am....
~Favorite girl movie. “While you were sleeping.” (ironic title isn’t it?)

I’d suggest Rambo. That’s a good chick flick. Or maybe The Andromeda Strain.

We had the same problem - it took Asher almost a month to get the hang of days and nights. It’s harder for you, though, b/c you have two other little ones who need your attention during the day. Glad everyone is home and safe; good luck with sleep.

Predator??? Nahhh. Too emotional at the end…
Does Empire Strikes Back count?
“whats wrong? my hands are dirt too.” classic romance right there if you ask me.
If those don’t work there is always “An Affair to Remember”

CONGRATULATIONS!!! He’s so beautiful. I’m glad that everything turned out the way it did for you. God is so good!
I rented “The Notebook” after my son was born. I think my hormones were raging, though, because I boo-hooed while nursing him at 3am.
My suggestion would be a funny one like “Tommy Boy.” I think that’s my all-time favorite comedy. As long as you don’t laugh too loud and wake the little guy up. A good suspense one that will help you stay awake is “The Illusionist.” It’s one of the best that I’ve seen in a while. Hope your little guy learns what nighttime is soon!

Mrs. Euphrony was a little bored by The Illusionist, though I liked it. The pacing was a little slow for her tastes. I actually watched it three times consecutively on a flight back from Norway.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Roman Holiday
Love Actually
Runaway Bride
My Best Friend’s Wedding
Beaches
Fried Green Tomatoes
Father of the Bride (2 in your case)
Steel Magnolias
Love Story
That’s about as sappy and girly as I can get. More sappy than cheesy and silly. But oh so girly.
