Music Monday: Andrea Bocelli

I don’t typically buy my music based on commercials for casinos.

But that’s how I found Andrea Bocelli.

His song Time To Say Goodbye was playing in the background of a commercial for The Bellagio. As soon as Jimmy and I heard his voice were mezmerized.

It was a few weeks before I found out who was singing (these were pre-google days, folks), but as soon as I did, we bought every cd we could find.

We now own all his music and even have video (somewhere) of The Small Person (when she was 2) lip synching to a couple of his songs.

The Smaller Person is also a fan and often requests his music when we’re in the car. She insists his name is Andrea Bo-jelly.
