Note: I encourage you to take a minute today to pray for all the bloggers who are now headed back from Uganda.
1. What is your name or pseudonym and where do you live?
Shaun Groves
2. How did you find The Secret Life of Kat? Why do you read it?
You posted a comment on my blog and I popped over to see who this woman allegedly named “Kat” was. And I was hooked after that by your humor, practical advise and the occasional story about your flame retardant husband.
3. What do you do?
I soft rock mostly and also do some speaking, some writing for magazines and a wee bit of choreography on the side.
4. What is one thing you’d like to brag about....if you were a bragger?
I look good in a leotard.
5. Recommend: 1 book, 1 musician, 1 movie, 1 blog
Cost Of Discipleship by Deitrich Bonhoeffer. Glen Hansard. Dead Poet Society. BrantHansen.typepad.com
6. What is something significant you’ve learned this year?
The word “repent” doesn’t mean to turn away from sin. It was used in Jesus’ day as a political term meaning to renounce one leader and pledge allegiance to a new one. It’s a transference of citizenship, of devotion, of the whole self from one ruler’s domain to another’s. Gives new meaning to the old song “I Surrender All” doesn’t it?
7. What is your favorite quote or verse?
You may have been born into poverty but poverty was not born into you. Wess Stafford, president of Compassion International.
8. Based on your life experience, what is one nugget of wisdom you’d like to share?
Work as little as you must to pay for as little as you can own so you can spend as much time as possible with the people you love most.
9. If you have a blog, what is the web address?
http://www.shlog.com
10. How many 5 year olds do you think you could take in a fight?
I train for this weekly with my son and nephew - both five. I think because I’ve honed my five-year-old-slaying skills I could take on a dozen - unless they tickle. Then I’m done for.

Shaun - Welcome. Since you do a little choreography and The Cachinator used to dance, maybe you two could collaborate on a number one of these days. Be sure and put a little video together for us all to see.
Minus the leotards please.
