Make Me Laugh - FancyPant’s Captcha Game

So the other day FancyPants had the idea to make a game of the little word deals (formally known as captchas) on the comment page.

I thought it would be an amusing way to pass the time while I’m on hiatus, so here’s how to play:

Click on the comment link at the end of this post. Check out the captcha (usually a short word followed by a two digit number) and then write a humorous sentence using that word/number combo.

Be creative. Make me laugh. Win some music.

That’s right. I’m even going to give a prize to the best response. The winner will receive a $10 iTunes gift certificate.

I’m not sure yet if I’ll determine the winner or if I’ll select the top 3 and let you all vote. Either way, I hope you’ll participate, be creative and have some fun while “Kat’s” away.

Well, I feel like I should go ahead and say that I kinda stole the game idea from Cach.  He does the Magic Word Game.  This is different because we’re making up sentences instead of definitions, but still…

OK, with that out of the way.  Can we submit more than one entry?

Kat was so delirious while giving birth that she yelled at Jimmy as she held tightly to him, “WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME!” in a different language84 times.

Ryan, I think you’re right.  If all of these are Kat/labor jokes we’ll quickly paint ouselves into a corner89 ways from Sunday.  We could easily branch out and go off in a field68 different directions from the labor topic.  But if you’re going to have an entry shine out in this game you’d better be one of the early78 comments and use your mind19 times more than you usually would.

I’m sorry, was that overkill?  Kat, you’re the judge, but wait until after your head clears today - please?  By the way, are you planning on more kids?  Between biological and Compassion kids, you could be a mother18 times over.

Kat, I know you haven’t been able to get comfortable without moving68 positions lately, but after today, you should be good to go!

It’s a good thing that everyone is being more or less polite in their sentences; otherwise, Kat, you might be expected to pay them back in kind57 times over.

d&d;Beffy, you were lucky with that selection of captcha.  Very easy to get a nice bible verse from that.  The rest of us have to make due with what we have:

Hey everybody,
Kat asked me to post a comment to let you all know that the smallest person has arrived!  He came yesterday morning and is a cute little guy!  Both baby and mommy are doing well.  Thank you for your prayers!

Ummmm....My captcha is without51 and I have been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to think of something witty to say...but am coming up blank.  Sorry!  But I did deliver the good news...that has to count for something!  Perhaps someone can cover me on this one!

Enjoy them while you have them.  Even the unrestful nights, tar filled diapers, falling off belly buttons and other weirdness.  They’ll be big soon, unwilling to hug you in front of friends.  And then, in a flash, they move out.  Hopefully around 18, some33.

Okay, is there anything more disgusting than a blackened, rotting umbilical cord remnant just waiting to fall off?  I mean, I’d rather program a graphical-based application in Basic89 times before seeing and cleaning that again!

I’m a little late to this game, I’ve been incapacitated too23 hours or so with the flu.

He is just incredible!  Congrats you two.  My sister had a C section for similar reasons.
