Anyone Else Overwhelmed?

The End of the 40 Day Fast
I’m a do-er.
I add items to my to do list AFTER I’ve finished them, just to have the joy of checking it off.
If I see a need I want to fix it.
But need doesn’t end. It doesn’t go away. I can’t fix it. And that overwhelms me.
The Faithfulness of Heros
A few weeks ago, I asked you all to list world changers.
What I found interesting about the names you mentioned, was that most of those people weren’t rich or famous or powerful when they began.
But there is one thing they had in common. They were faithful.
They were faithful in the face of overwhelming odds.
They were faithful when given the highest praise.
They were faithful in the face of death.
They were faithful in little. They saw an overwhelming need and just did what they could.
Do Something Little.
Over the last 40 days, it’s been so good to be reminded of the need around us.
But now we know. What are we going to do next?
We can be overwhelmed and do nothing or we can take what we know and be faithful to do what we can.
It doesn’t have to be big. It doesn’t have to be impressive. It doesn’t even have to be tangible.
It just has to be something. One little thing.
I love what Liz said in her post:
“One is just the starting point, the springboard hope jumps off of.”
Today, I challenge you to do one little thing.
I’m closing comments here and I ask you visit InspiredToAction.com to share what you’re doing and see what others are doing.
Great Song
I’ll close with this song from JJ Heller (who has been kind enough to let me post it here). The song is called Little Things and says what I’m trying to say...only better.
