Kat’s Law Strikes Again

So, yesterday I waited on hold for 786 hours so that I could activate my old cell phone because I lost my new cell phone. The switch cost $36.

What happened this morning?

That’s right. We found my new phone.

Murphy ain’t got nothin’ on me.

In the recesses of the couch in my husband’s office. He was just straightening the cover and low and behold...there it was. After two hours with customer service last night I was able to switch the phone back.

That is so my life!!! I actually ran over my cell phone last year.  When I called Verizon’s customer service the girl I spoke to (who was great btw) said, “I’ve never heard of anyone doing that!” Made me feel special. wink

They didn’t charge you again did they?

You ran over your cell phone? Ugh. What a bummer. Cell phones are awesome until they’re broken or missing. I never realized how much I missed mine until I didn’t have it. I’m glad it’s back.

They actually didn’t charge me to begin with (I don’t think). The folks at the Sprint store said it would cost $36, but the customer service person I spoke with last night (rep #4 - “Mikey") said there was no charge.

For Sprint’s sake, there best not be a charge on our next bill. grin

Of course… don’t you love how that happens?  We’ve been through a ton of cell phone companies, and we like cingular the best, the people are even nice when you call!  Not that you want to go through trying to change your cell around again…
Sorry that happened....
