Congrats. I also rock the black MacBook.
May I make a suggestion?
You may find, as I did, that you are horrified at how bad the fingerprints and smudges look on the body of the Mac after a few days. The black doesn’t hide ANYTHING.
I bought a Speck case, and love it. Here’s a link, in case you’re interested:

Enjoy the Mac!

I bought a Nintendo Wii for our 2 daughters oldest daughters. Really didn’t want them to stare at a video game for hours, but the Wii is pretty darn good. You don’t just sit there. The 5 year old picked it up and had the control mastered in about 5 min.

The last tech gadget I bought was a new printer. It’s a Kodak 3-in-1 scanner, copier, printer. Kodak knows how to make inks, and the pics you print with it should have a similar lifetime as a normally developed photo (unlike something from HP or Cannon, which will be looking bad within 10 years or so). And I got a good deal on it through their website. Plus, the ink is about a third the cost of HP’s ink refills.

Dearest Kat, I am delighted on your behalf! Enjoy the gadget...my quasi-gadget at this time is my work computer with dual screen! God bless you!!!

Unless a presentation clicker counts, I don’t remember… But congrats on your new toy!

Hmm, I bought my Mom’s desktop to piecemeal with my desktop to make a computer for our kids. (Starfall.com is an all time favorite around here and I do not trust my 3 year old with my laptop. Well, not since he popped 13 keys off the keyboard in under 30 seconds as I tore across the room trying to stop him.)
I HELPED my Mom pick out a new laptop. I shopped, she bought, she gets the laptop. Heheh. I pick all of her computers for her.
Hmm, guess that’s it. Nothing too exciting.

Kat,
I bought/built an entire new system last month. AMD ATHLON 64 Dual Core 6000+ 3.00 GHz, NVidia GeForce 8800 GT, 3.0 GB RAM, LG Flatron 19”, Logitech X-540 5.1 Surround Sound. I could have gone with 7.1, but felt that was excessive for my entertainment needs. It made me bounce when I walked for days. The last one was four years old and couldn’t play my new games. I still use the old system for work and school, so I bought an AVMK switch, too.
Yours in Christ,
Chris Livingstone.

Memory from Crucial for my Macbook (I have to black one too!). Super-cheap. Getting an iPhone. And possibly a wireless keyboard.

Yesterday, the iphone.
I owned the original but was able to sell it over a month ago to buy the new one. Mu luck held out as I was the second to last person in line to get one.
It was a fun experience and I am happy to enjoy it.

After asking you on Twitter if you’re a Mac girl, I see this. My bad.
And about that missing Enter key, I found a way to remap the Right Option key as an Enter key. But if you’ve not missed it yet, it probably isn’t that big of a deal to you.
And the last thing? I got a white MacBook yesterday. But it is through the office. I hope to get an iPhone soon. I know I will after I play w/ my friends.
