Inspired To Action Launches October 24

Two months ago many of you participated in The 40 Day Fast. I loved the way we all interacted, taught each other about various needs around the world and challenged everyone to take action. We even raised enough money to buy a couple goats for families in Haiti and Uganda.

Inspired To Action

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m working on a new blog called Inspiredtoaction.com. I’ve actually owned the domain name for several years but I never did anything with it. Now, though, we have a great team of people (whom I’ll introduce this weekend) who will be contributing to the site and we’re all extremely excited about the impact we hope to make.

Our Mission

The purpose of the site is to:

To equip and inspire people to take action on behalf of those in need.

Our Method

We will do this by:
1. News - Providing up to date news on needs around the world.
2. Articles/Interviews - Write engaging articles and interviews that inform, challenge and inspire.
3. Action Steps - Outline action steps that simplify the process of taking action.
4. Personal Change - Provide tips and tools to inspire personal change so that our readers will be better equipped to change the world around them.
5. Events - Sponsor various campaigns like the Get A Goat and 40 Day Fast events.

Get Involved

We have a great team in place, but we’d love to have even more people involved. We could use a few more writers, people to help promote the site and a photo editor.

We’d also love your input if you have any ideas for the site or for stories.

The blog will launch next Wednesday on October 24th.

I’m so excited about InspiredToAction.com, I hope you’ll join the community and help us help others.

Euphrony, I don’t know what you’re talking about.  All my posts will be in dead languages. 

I was really looking forward to the entry on cute poodles.

I can’t believe the day is almost here!  I am very excited about this site and about being ACTIVE in making a difference.  I am going to put you in my sidebar today and do a post.
