I’m In Recovery

Jimmy has been out of town for the better part of a week.
Me and 3 small children in 1 house for 5 days.
It’s like cage fighting except more dangerous.
They won.
He’s home now.
I’m in recovery.
I’ll blog tomorrow.

Yeah, did you ever answer how many five-year olds you could take in a fight?
In a week I’ll be leaving for five days to Salt Lake City. Mrs. E will be in the same place, only two instead of three.

I can relate Kat. My wife and I have 7 kids and I just do not know how she pulls it off. I feel like I have been in a cage fight after an afternoon with them by myself.
She is from a large family (8) so she must used to it. I was the last of 4, but everyone was gone by the time I turned 11. I was sort of an only child there at the end.
To keep our sanity, we take 4 days off for our anniversary every year (25 next week) and go away, just the two of us. We catch some flack from others saying its selfish to leave the kids at home, but it really helps us reconnect, and keep the love in our relationship.
