I Double Dog Dare You: 100 Clicks

Over at Inspired to Action, we’ve been writing about the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

I know what you’re thinking, “I couldn’t pick DRC out on a map. I feel no connection to it, why would I want to go to all the effort to click a link just to read an article about people I can’t help? No thanks. I’m going to just go read another, easier blog post now. See ya.”

Honestly, I often feel the same way. I don’t feel like I can really make a tangible difference, so I just click away.

But if you’re like me, you want to help. You want to make a difference. It’s just all so overwhelming.

Today I’m going to simplify things. All I want you to do is click…

100 Clicks

So I double dog dare 100 of you to click the link below to read about the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

That’s it. All you need to do is click the link. You don’t need to commit to writing a letter. You don’t need to commit to giving money to an aid organization.

Just click. You can do that right?

Change begins with one step....or click.

Go ahead…

Learn about the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

I’ll post an update later today when we reach 100 clicks.

(If you’re reading via RSS, please click through to my blog and then click on the link. That way I can count your click.)

I’m in.  I was moved when I learned of the turmoil in the Congo from a fiction novel by Barbara Kingsolver- The Poisonwood Bible.  It’s one of my fav books ever.
