Husband University: Professor Jimmy Is In

I confess that I haven’t always highlighted Jimmy’s finest moments on this blog:
Exhibit A: What Not To Say To Your Pregnant Wife

But he really is an amazing husband.
In fact, tomorrow after church, he’s sending me to a local coffee shop for some quality time with my iBook - for 5 hours!
This is what my day will look like:
6:30am - Wake up to the happy sounds of my baby boy (Have I mentioned that he’s the happiest baby on earth? He seriously is.)
8:30am - Read the paper. Look through the Best Buy, Circuit City and Office Max ads.
11:00am - Church
1:00pm - Lunch with the family (we always eat TexMex food for Sunday lunch. Yum.)
1:30pm(ish) - Kat time
6:30pm - Help put the kids to bed.
8:00pm - Enjoy a relaxing evening at home.
How awesome is that? I’ve been looking forward to tomorrow all week - which has made every day easier.
Did I mention that this will be a weekly event?
Yep.
And did I mention that Jimmy has taken over the dishes?
Yep. Yep. I haven’t done the dishes in over a month.
And he makes crepes every Sunday morning for our family?
Yep. Yep. Yep. So delicious.
So all you husbands and husbands-to-be out there, take notes. Professor Jimmy is in the house.

Smart move to go to a coffee shop. My husband graciously gave me alone time yesterday, but my daughter came in to talk to me in my bedroom about her Wizard of Oz birthday party in DECEMBER three times. And then she wanted a bath in my garden tub. Sigh.

On an unrelated note, while in Google Reader I realized I hadn’t read any posts from you for a while, so I went to your page, and lo and behold, you’ve been updating but for some reason your feed hasn’t been updating, so I’ve missed the last 2 weeks of posts! I’m going to try taking you off and then putting you back on to see if that works. Any idea what might be wrong?

You know, I’ve had a couple people say that they had the same problem with Google Reader.
The blog updates just fine for me in my reader (Vienna). I think it has something to do with the way Google Reader is reading my feedburner feed. I don’t know what the deal is, though.
I’ll have to look into it a bit more.

Thanks, Kat. I tried deleting and adding your feed again, but no update. So I just added you to my links toolbar in IE so I don’t miss your posts.
