Human Slingshot: The Last Thing I Want To Do Today…

We have a stomach bug going through our house. This is the last thing I’d want to do today.
Frankly, though, that’s just an excuse. I’m not a big rollercoaster...amusement park ride...falling from things person. I like to be adventurous. I like rock climbing, mountain biking and such, but this? No...thank you!
My husband thinks it looks awesome…
How about you? Would you do it?

I would so absolutely be all over that. What’s not good about that?

death?
Perhaps it’s a control issue. I’d rather trust myself to hold onto the side of a cliff or not ride my bike over a mountain than hope that someone else was using strong enough rubber bands to keep me from being flung into the forest or the side of a building.
....but that’s just me.

I’d probably try it. Maybe not in my redneck backyard, but somewhere else. Blue (my four year old) thinks it looks awesome.

Brody,
Blue...that’s awesome. We’re trying to think of names for our son, but we sure are having a hard time. You’d think that since this is our first boy, it would be easy, but boy’s names are tough....especially since we think we want something a bit unique.
You have three boys, right? Was it tough to come up with all those names? Any names that didn’t make the cut that you could throw our way?
At this point, we simply refer to him as “The Boy.” That definitely needs to change.

Kat,
I have been a silent observer for a while now, but I thought I should comment here. The slingshot looks awesome, but I wouldn’t do it unless I could verify the equipment had been properly inspected. The thought of being slingshot and not snapping back again doesn’t sound like too much fun...but at least the pain would only last a second! Talk to you later. Hello to everyone…
