Kick a soccer ball real good.

(The grammar in this post was inspired by Brant. I would also like to mention that it was rather difficult to find a picture of David Beckham actually playing soccer.)

With a husband as handsome as mine...it actually was.

I’m not a big fan of having to search for photos for blog posts. I ended up having to do a search for “David Beckham soccer” in order to find a soccer related pic.

I think it’s silly.  But whatever.  It will be interesting to see if it actually makes soccer anymore popular here.

Amy, I think we know your opinion of Becks coming to LA.  I, personally, think it will be a good thing for MLS.  Give it some credibility by having a true world-class player still in his prime decide it would not be an embarrassment to play in the league.

I’m also glad he’s in LA with the Galaxy, not with my Dynamo’s.  Let them foot the bill; and one man won’t make that big of a play difference, so I still look forward to winning our games!

And Kat, you might be careful in searching for photos of European celebs like the Beckhams.  With the paparazzi and the European attitudes for what is publishable, your search might come back with more than you want.

Ha!  No, I agree, it is irritating to find a picture of someone like that that is worth posting.  I laughed because cach did that “face analysis thing” on his blog where you find out who you look and it said that he looked like him. ? To be honest, I didn’t know who the heck he was… I did a search and all I found were pics of him shirtless.  I thought “jeeze, does this guy ever wear a stinkin’ shirt?”

It’s true.  I do look like Beckham.  The reason you had trouble finding pictures of him playing soccer is that so many photos that are tagged including him are actually photos of me.  It’s a common mistake.

Sorry to burst your Beckahm bubble, but that website also told me that my filipino/french daughter looks like Queen Latifah. Seriously. And it said that I look like Kate Hudson. Um...what?

I just hope they’re not using that system to catch criminals or anything.
