Grandparent Update: The Smallest Person

On Tuesday, The Smallest Person rolled over! It was so fun because the girls and I saw it coming so we called for Daddy to come out of his office and we cheered him on, “Go Smallest Person! Go. Go. Go. Go Smallest Person!”
He looked quite bewildered when he finally rolled over, but now he can’t wait to try to roll over every time we put him on his tummy.

Can I please get audio of all of you cheering, “Go Smallest Person! Go. Go. Go. Go Smallest Person?”

So you have officially entered the “turtle on back” stage, as well. You know, the fun of this stage doesn’t end until they can roll from back to front. I’m hoping Liler’E will get ther soon!

Thanks for letting us Grandmas know!

Kat. Seems as you are infamous. Throught Shaun, Brody and such.
I enjoy your blog (since I found you).
I’ll be back.
Peace

Cach,
You know....I didn’t happen to get audio of that....
Euphrony,
I don’t think I’m quite ready for The Smallest Person to make progress too quickly. Our house is completely NOT babyproofed anymore. I need to get to work on that before he becomes mobile…
Mimi,
You’re welcome!
Chad,
Well, you’re quite “the blog star” yourself.
I’m sorry. I couldn’t help it.
Your blog was one of the first I found (I think I found it through Shaun’s) so I’m pretty honored you stopped by here and found it worthy to revisit.
Thanks!

Baby-proofing! AAAGGGHHHHH! I knew there was something I was forgetting. Off I go, now, just as soon as I finish painting ladybugs and daisies on Lil’E’s walls.

It’s okay. You can recreate it for me.
Go ahead and do that.

woo hoo!
they grow up sooo fast, I can’t believe your little one is already rolling! It seems my littlest just started that! Oh no, I think crawling is coming soon....

Something about the way you described that seemed very real, I could just picture him doing it and thought “how sweet!”

Wahoo! This Grandma is VERY proud! Thanks for letting us know!

Euphrony,
I don’t even know what we’re going to do with the baby-proofing thing. My girls love to play with beads and pennies and all sorts of wonderful choking hazards…
Cach,
Geesh.
(But you know I’m going to.)
Kristin,
Don’t they? I’m actually at the doctor’s office right now and it seems like just yesterday that I was sitting here with a big belly and wondering what my little boy was going to look like…
It’s it funny that our boys will be in the same grade? It seems like he’s SO much older than my little guy.
Michelle,
Thanks!
By the way, I have to add CHiPS to your “Greatest Theme Song” post. My husband recently got the entire first season on DVD and that theme song has been stuck in my head for weeks!
Grandma,
You’re welcome!

Oh, PolyPockets are the absolute worst. Little bitty plastic shoes, purses, clothes - if Liler’E survives without choking at least once, I’ll be grateful.
