The Smaller Person turned FIVE this weekend.
FIVE. Next thing you know she’s going to get married and leave me.
(music swell........Butterfly kisses with her mama there, sticking little white flowers all up in her hair.......)
Actually, she DID get married. Then she had twins, became a doctor, bought a fixer upper and won a talent show.
And after she beat me at the Game of Life, we went outside and rode scooters.
They grow up quickly don’t they?

Yes they do grow fast my friend. As you know I have beautiful eight and seven year old girls. They are growing up, and looking and acting like little ladies. It makes me sad, yet sober for enjoying my almost two year old and two month old boys! Before we know it, these days will be gone.

Oh, she’s VERY excited to be 5. We bought her a size 6 dress for her birthday and she’s elated by the fact that she doesn’t wear “T’s” (i.e. 4T, 5T etc.)anymore.

With my little girl, the “cell phone” has been attached to the ear for a long time. She also likes to write long letters to her friends (though she’s still learning to write so most of the time she just puts squiggles across a page).

Yes, she loves to talk on the phone. On her birthday she took several calls from family members and loved that when the phone rang it was likely for her.

Oh yes, The Small Person loves to “write\” letters - and put them in envelopes and put stamps on…

Kat, I meant to tell you that Small Person came up to me at church on Sunday and enthusiastically exclaimed, “I don’t wear 5T anymore. I wear 6!” That’s all she said before running off. Of course, I had no idea what she was talking about, but it was precious!
