Not only did he win, but he beat the favorite-an adorable 6 year old girl with a voice like Judy Garland. Her audition is worth seeing as well!

Thanks for the link....I think. I showed the video to my girls and they’ve begged me to play it for them every minute for the past week. They think it’s so cool that Connie sings so well and that everyone likes her so much...and she’s little like them.

Haha! Well, glad you have some cheap, free entertainment for them. If you search on YT you should be able to find the other performances she had, including the finale where they dressed her up like a lil’ princess! I read that Simon offered her Mom a seven figure record deal, but Mom wan’t interested in changing her life so much at this early age-good for them!

A seven figure record deal? That’s so cool that’s so cool that her Mom had the gumption to turn that down in the best interest of her daughter. Frankly, that’s almost as amazing as her daughter’s singing voice!
