3.27.08 - Parent’s University Topic: Finances

The topic for this week’s Parent’s University is: Finances.

It’s a fact. Kid’s aren’t cheap.

Diapers, clothes, toys, piano lessons…

It all adds up.

Let’s share our best money saving, college fund building, penny pinching tips.

It’s all happening right here on Thursday at Parent’s University.

See you there!

We make a special point to gather change. If the bill is $1.09, my husband will give the casier $2.00 and put the change in a special jar. I know that this is an old trick, but we saved $500.00 for my daughter’s 8th grade field trip to Wash. DC.

Oh, I can’t wait to read these; this is a concern I have about having children. Obviously, families make ends meet all the time with multiple children, but I want to hear how it’s done!

By the way, your feed seems to be updating marvelously in Google Reader. smile
