Reason #1: It’s Really Good

This is a bit of a no brainer. Everyone likes good music and every musician strives to make good music.

Reason #2: It’s Really Popular

Music lovers can occassionally be like lemmings.

Reason #3: It’s Really Familiar

If someone feels like they have a connection with an artist, they will listen to their music even if the quality isn’t as high as they’d like.

I totally agree with these three reasons. Now the question is, how do you make your music popular? I guess if you are successful with reasons 1 and 3, and that will make it popular.
