I’ve visited several musician’s sites lately that use .m3u’s to allow readers to listen to their songs.

I highly recommend using another approach. Many web surfers (myself included) don’t appreciate having to download a file and have it added to their music player in order to hear your music, especially when there are so many great flash players available such as this one.

It’s cool how many great resources for video and audio embeds there are now! I’ve been using Vimeo.com for my video and the quality has been pretty great. It also supports High Definition which is cool.
