If you have a website (and you should) you MUST have a direct link to your music on your homepage. Not a link to a page that has your music. A link directly to your music. Every musician’s web site should have a flash player in an obvious location that has snippets or preferably complete version of their music.

I have been to countless artist websites where I was either redirected to their myspace page, another page on their site, or I had to download an mp3 in order to just get an idea of what they sound like.

With the growing popularity of blogging, there is a good chance that a number of people visiting your site, have never heard your music. Make it easy for them.
