The most talented aren’t always the most successful.

And the most successful are rarely the most talented.

So if talent isn’t the key to success, what is?

Inertia.

Huh?

You remember inertia, that beloved law of physics that states that objects at rest tend to stay at rest, while objects in motion tend to stay in motion.

The key to success then, is simply and habitually taking small steps towards you goals....over and over and over.

Everyday do something, anything, to further your career.

• Write a new song
• Book a gig
• Send out a press release
• Write a blog entry
• Network

Even the smallest task can keep that inertia going and keep your career moving forward.

So stop dreaming and start doing.
