Sometimes it’s hard to critique your own music. But it’s vital that you constantly evaluate your strengths and weaknesses so that you can learn and grow.
Make A Mixed CD
One way to do this is to make a mixed cd of your favorite songs and intersperse your music in there as well. Listen to the cd as you go throughout your day and try to take notes as you notice areas where you’re music may or may not match the level of the other songs on the disc.
Get Better Reviews From Family And Friends
This is also a great way to get more realistic reviews and evaluations from family and friends. Ask them to note the differences (good or bad) between your music and the other music on the disc.
