We’ve covered the idea of creating a music slogan before, but today I thought I’d discuss a simple way to get started.

Your slogan should describe your music, set you apart and communicate a benefit.

So instead of just trying to come up with a catchy phrase, you might start by creating three lists of words:

• 1. Words that describe your music.
• 2. Words that set you apart.
• 3. Words that communicate a benefit.

Then start mixing and matching those words until you have something descriptive, unique and compelling.
