The 5:30 Club

My friend Jamee has started something very, very cool called the 5:30 Club. In fact, I love her idea so much I even joined the 5:30 Club Facebook group.

The idea behind the club is to inspire and encourage one another to wake up early and start the day off right with Bible reading and prayer.

It’s not easy to get into a routine of rising early, but it has been one of the most powerful habits I’ve ever developed. It sets such a wonderful foundation. I think the 5:30 Club is the perfect way to stay accountable and inspired.

Won’t you join us?

Question for You

What time do you wake up in the morning?

Um… I think it’s a great idea, but I leave my house at 5:30 in the morning.  This means I’d have to join a 4:30 Club, and that’s just not going to happen!

That’s a great idea! I wake up most days at 6:02 a.m. (in honor of my June 2 wedding anniversary–my husband’s idea, hehe).

Erin, if I followed that formula, I would wake up at 8:06 am. I LIKE it!!

Erin,

Hmmm…I’d have to wake up at 2:28. I suppose if that’s pm, I wouldn’t mind. grin

Seth,

Oh to live the life of an artist…
