Because, really, how perfectly adorable is he…?

Speaking of Gap, what’s your favorite clothing store?

I’m a terrible shopper. I rarely buy new clothes.

Part of the problem is that I spend all my money on technology.

The other part of the problem is that I’m rarely without my kids and shopping with 3 Small People sounds about as fun as…well, it just doesn’t sound fun at all.

When I do buy clothes it’s usually from Gap or Aeropostale.

Other Mothers, because of their 25 cent sale every Friday.  It saves my wife (and thus me) tons of money on maternity wear and kids clothes, especially shoes and snow gear.  I even get an occasional work polo from there.  Why people give men’s shirts to a kids’ consignment shop is beyond me.

Precious.  He’s just precious.

I love the clearance racks at the Ann Taylor outlet.  It’s pretty much the only way I’ve managed to have a professional wardrobe on a grad school budget.

He is a cutie! Too bad he is too young for either of my girls. wink

I don’t think I have one favorite store ‘cause each member of my family seems to find better fits at a different one. Kohl’s, Bealls, Target are the ones we go to usually. But, to be honest, we don’t clothes shop that much.

I like Old Navy because their clothes fit me well and they’re not expensive.  Although I’m more likely to shop online these days since I don’t live close to the store.

I really like Kohl’s too.  They have GREAT clearance prices and you can get nice clothes dirt cheap.  And that is my kind of shopping!

Too, too cute.

The Children’s Place is our favorite, but we don’t shop there anymore due to formaldyhyde in clothing. We shop the Gap because they are, in our area, the “cleanest” clothing in that regards. They aren’t the top, there are 2 that are better but we can’t afford them and they aren’t in our area anyway, but they are a close 3rd. I will take that over the others any day of the week. =)

KOHL’S. For myself, my husband and my 18-month old son. Primarily because my husband works for the company and we just can’t beat all the sales they offer, the discounts you get with the store credit card and then his employee discount on top of all of it.

(But for my son, I occasionally score on the Target-clearance rack.)

Looks like I need to check out Kohl’s!!!

Kari – formaldehyde in clothes? I haven’t heard of that! Why is it in there?

And I think I’ve found my true favorite shopping place. See, we live in a college town. A rich kid college town. And there’s a consignments store popular with the college kids (did I really just say college “kid” – sigh…I’m so “old”)

Anyway, I love that consignment store. It’s like having a personal shopper. The cool Baylor girls, pick out the best stuff from the stores for that season and then get rid of them when school’s out. I buy them and I’m still stylish because the stay at home mom fashion season lasts about 5 years.

I just got two really cute skirts and a pair of shorts today for $32.

Niiice.

Kat, here’s one of the many articles on Formaldehyde in children’s clothing. Gap has “limited formaldahyde”. I did just discover, however, that there’s a Carter’s outlet within 30 minutes of us!!!! Wahoo.
