Not Just A God of the Broken
I used to lament that I don’t have a great testimony.
No sordid past transformed. No addictions broken.
Just a little girl who responded to the truth her Grandmother spoke.
But now, 27 years later, I’ve decided I want an amazing testimony.
Because I’ve learned that my God isn’t just a God who heals the broken.
He’s a God who can take the whole, blow our minds, transform our lives and take us places we’ve never dreamed,
Ready?

I used to think I wasn’t all that broken, and then I realized the more I get to know God, the more He wants to heal the places I didn’t even know were broken….sometimes by breaking the poorly mended places again for a fresh start.

I agree with Amy! And, I say yay for the reality that EVERY story Jesus writes is AMAZING!

As someone with a “sorid” past before coming to Christ, I pray that my children don’t have to go through the messes I did to know they NEED Jesus.
