My week of writing went very well.
Except it wasn’t really a week. It was more like a couple days. Hours really. Minutes?
No, it was days.
OK. ACTUALLY, it was hours because I have 2 hours of free time every day when I can play, write and do carefree things like shower and eat, so I probably spent a total of 6 hours writing this week.
So, to call it a BOOK is a bit, um, dramatic?
It’s 20 pages. With pictures. Double spaced.
I didn’t know what my topic was going to be when I started this endeavor last Sunday, but I soon decided to finally write an ebook that would answer a lot of the web design questions I have gotten from musicians.
I’ve wanted to write this for several years now and have just never taken the time to do it. I purposely tried to keep the focus of the book really narrow so that I could include the entirety of my thoughts on the subject. The ebook is entitled “The 10 Essentials of a Music Website.”
I think the name sounds kind of gimmicky, but it’s the most clear cut title I could think of (let me know if you have any suggestions).
I still need to format it, create as a pdf and such, but it should be ready next Sunday.
Yes, Sunday…because formatting a huge 20 page book takes time, people.
So there you go. A book(let) in a week.
It was fun. I enjoyed writing and I plan to write more book(let)s on other ideas I have floating around in my head.
Oh, and stay tuned for a fun challenge….with a pretty cool prize.
(I’ve been asked if I’m charging for the ebook and the answer is no.)

Yeah, I did. Finally. I’ve been hanging around your blog for like…fourteen years, so I thought it was time to make myself look all official like. I morphed Tom Cruise and the Olson twins to get my profile picture…and the rest…is history.
