Ok, I couldn’t pick just one. But I kept the list as short as possible.

Like Chad, I had a difficult time deciding.  But, in the end, only one stood out – when I think of movie rock music, I think of Kenny Loggins.

Great topic.  I like the different directions people are taking it.  I love musicals, compilations, and film scores.  So, I’ll pick one from each category.

Musical: “Evita” 1998.  Antonio Banderas and Madonna totally worked for this soundtrack.  I especially like the two of them together on “High Flying Adored”.

Compilation: “Pretty In Pink” 1986.  OMD, Psychedelic Furs, INXS, The Smiths.  Classic 80’s alternative rock, my favorite is “Wouldn’t It Be Good” by Danny Hutton, written by Nik Kershaw.

Film Score: “Dances With Wolves” 1990.  Beautiful music that I get swept up in.  I can picture the frontier just listening to it.  Also my favorite movie of all-time.

It would have to be the “Across the Universe” soundtrack.
